The temperatures are much milder, daily sunshine is almost certain and nature, which is dusty and dry in summer, is green and blooming in all colors in winter.
The historic site, which was not visited in summer due to the heat, can now be explored in a relaxed atmosphere.
A visit in times when the sun is not relentlessly hot from the sky is ideal for someone who wants to visit sights such as monasteries, museums or archaeological sites.
Life is quieter, no hectic pace, no crowds like in summer, a nice warm apartment to read, cook, what more could you want!
The daytime temperatures are always such that you can walk along the coast or hike in the Akamas nature reserve, often even in shorts.
Admiring the blooming flora and fauna is a pleasure.
Another varied option in winter is the nearby Tsada, Aphrodite Hills, Elea Estates and Secret Valley golf courses, which are beautifully situated.
The flight prices are much cheaper in winter than in summer - so why not benefit from it and escape the winter blues?
